HOW IT ALL BEGAN

My ravenous toy collection began when my mother gifted me a Katniss Barbie one Christmas. Of course, I was too old to admit I wanted it, but my mom, also a doll lover, thought it would be a fun present since I'd loved the Hunger Games books so much.
Little did she know I'd end up owning more dolls than both of my little sisters combined, and that my growing collection would spill over into action figures as well.
A Facebook post showcasing the work of a doll artist was all it took to get me on the path to repainting. I was by no means an expert, but I was figuring it out as I went along.
Making my first sale was super validating, and I knew that I could keep going and do better and better. Plus, it was awesome having some extra cash!
In the end, my passion for art and toy collecting keeps me repainting. I have such a blast doing this and sharing my art online. I hope you enjoy looking at my art, and I hope you learn a few things about starting your own repainting journey!

About: About

Doll repainting is something anyone can do if you have the passion and drive to stick with it. It is a bit tricky at first - drawing and painting on rubber takes some getting used to - but if you really love it, and you don't let yourself get discouraged by the early stages, you can make some extra cash and have fun while you do it.
