This project is super simple and easy to do.
All you need is:
An X-acto blade or an equivilant
Apoxie Sculpt
Paint
Mod Podge or clear glue
Flat-edge sculpting tool (optional)

You only need a tiny amount of Apoxie to start. Here is the amount of clay I prepared, and I only used a fraction of it.

Since the ear lobes will be longer than before, you'll have to cut off the old lobes. This also prevents any obstructions when you make the holes for the gauges.
Start with a small ball of clay and shape it until it is the desired length. I like to use a flat-head sculpting tool to make a smooth transition between the existing ear and the clay. If you don't have any sculpting tools, a wet q-tip is good for smoothing Apoxie sculpt too.
When you get the lobe shaped how you want it, create an impression for the gauge. I used the ball-end of my sculpting tool.
Wait for the clay to set, sand it smooth, and paint the sculpted part of the ear.
Next, carefully paint in the hole made for the gauge. When it's dry, fill it with a drop of Mod Podge or another clear glue. You may have to do this two or three times to fill the hole.
And that's it! If you want some insight on how I made his elf ears, I have another article explaining just that. Enjoy!
Love,
Haley
